Dutch Food Masters is growing rapidly, and we are looking for colleagues who thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment.

We currently operate two restaurants in the heart of Amsterdam: Dutch Pancake Masters on Damrak and the brand-new ’t Westerhuys, located between the Westertoren and the Anne Frank House.

For our restaurants, we are looking for motivated new colleagues on a flexible contract with no fixed hours. You will be scheduled where needed in the operation and play an important role in serving and welcoming our guests. You will work as a host, serving guests, welcoming them, and delivering their food. We aim to train everyone to be all-round, but of course, we will primarily schedule you where your strengths lie.

A full-time contract (38 hours) is negotiable based on knowledge and experience.

No two days are the same: from events and large groups to a quiet Monday evening or a busy Saturday afternoon. We have big ambitions. Do you? Then apply now.

What will you do?

As a restaurant employee, you ensure every guest gets what they came for: a great meal and excellent service in one of the most beautiful locations in Amsterdam.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming our guests
  • Taking orders
  • Serving our dishes
  • Preparing drinks at the bar
  • Working on the terrace during summer
  • Keeping the restaurant clean (dishwashing, sweeping, etc. — we do it together)
  • Serving large groups

What do you bring?

  • You enjoy interacting with guests and actively approach people for a chat
  • Experience in a hospitality environment
  • You speak Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus
  • An energetic and solution-oriented mindset
  • You enjoy being challenged and understand that hospitality work can be physically demanding , but that doesn’t scare you
