Nanny vacatures in Hilversum

Nanny job in Utrecht from 11 January 2027: € 30 an hour on a Dutch contract, your own room with a private bathroom (or live out within about thirty minutes by bike), and about six weeks of paid holiday. We are a family with boys of 7 and 5 and a baby girl, and we hope you will stay with us for at least a year, ideally much longer.

Your week (30 paid hours)

- Monday and Wednesday: 7:30–8:30 and 14:00–18:00

- Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30–8:30 and 16:30–18:00

- One evening a week for mom and dad's date night (19:00–23:00, agreed a week ahead)

- Friday usually free with full pay; some Fridays a half day, announced the week before

You are paid for 30 hours every week; most weeks you work fewer.

What you do: breakfast and lunch boxes, the school run on foot or by cargo bike, picking up from school and daycare, playing and activities, cooking and dinner with the family, tidying up after the children and their laundry. A cleaner comes every week. When one of us travels (about five weeks a year) the days are longer, planned well ahead and paid on top.

What we offer

- € 30 gross per hour + 8% holiday allowance: about € 3,900 gross a month, on a Dutch employment contract with a pension

- Live-in: your own large room with a private shower and toilet, and meals (we pay the tax on the room). Living out is fine too if you live, or would like to live, within about thirty minutes of us by bike

- About six weeks of paid holiday, a bike, a language course and a paediatric first-aid course

About you

- A nanny by profession, with several years of paid childcare and references we can call

- Experience with babies is a plus

- You speak English well; Dutch is welcome but not needed (the boys speak Dutch and English)

- You cycle confidently and don't smoke

- You may work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA/Swiss citizen, or a Dutch residence permit that allows work)
