The exhibition BODY WORLDS: The Happiness Project in Amsterdam tells the amazing story of our own bodies and the influence of the phenomenon of 'happiness' on our health. More than 200 anatomical preparations of real human bodies show the complexity, resilience and fragility of the body. This special interactive presentation reveals the effect of happiness on body and soul. The exhibitions about the human body have already been visited by more than 40 million people worldwide.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum, located on Dam Square in Amsterdam since 2016, has been called the craziest museum in the Netherlands. And that is not surprising, because what can be seen in the five-story and nineteen-gallery building is indeed almost unbelievable. The Ripley's collection is the result of 95 years of collecting by Robert Ripley and his heirs and has been collected and assembled by Ripley himself. That was quite a job: he had a choice of 25,000 pieces. In addition to more than 500 objects, the museum also has a cabinet of curiosities of 2000 square meters in which you can see the most remarkable things.

Red Light Secrets also known as Museum of Prostitution, is the world’s first prostitution museum. The museum is located in the red light district in Amsterdam and is housed in a famous brothel in Amsterdam that is still in it’s original state. The Museum of Prostitution offers its visitors an informative and unique journey in the oldest profession of the world by seeing the inside of the prostitutes rooms and hearing stories of previous prostitutes. Visitors are also given the chance to ‘sit behind a window’ and experience what it’s like to be .

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

· Working allround in the museum as a: host in front of the door greeting our (potential) customers and in the museum as a Sales Representative behind the cashdesk and photo desk.

· Pro-active in approaching our customers in the museum and supporting the supervisor with the daily tasks in the museum.

YOUR SKILLS

· You’re service-oriented, proactive and commercially oriented;

· Your enthusiasm and attitude tells us that hospitality and service are in your DNA;

· You’re able to work independently and in a team;

· You control the English language (written and spoken). Other languages are a plus;

· Your head is always cool: also when it’s busy and hectic and you can handle big groups;

· You don’t mind working in the mornings, evenings, during the weekends and public holidays.

· You're available parttime (minimum 3 days) or fulltime.
