Senior QA Engineer / Quality Lead

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer / Quality Lead who takes ownership of software quality and helps our teams continuously improve the way we build, test, and release software.

This is not a role for someone who simply executes test cases. We are looking for a proactive quality professional who enjoys the craft of software testing, stays up to date with modern QA practices, and helps elevate quality across projects and teams.

What you'll do

As a Senior QA Engineer / Quality Lead, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality of our software solutions while helping teams continuously improve their development and testing practices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining, improving, and maintaining QA processes across multiple projects;
  • Designing test strategies and test plans based on project risks and requirements;
  • Performing functional, integration, regression, acceptance, exploratory, and API testing;
  • Identifying risks early and proactively preventing quality issues;
  • Working closely with developers, product owners, project managers, and customers;
  • Helping teams improve quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle;
  • Contributing to test automation initiatives and quality tooling;
  • Improving release readiness and deployment confidence;
  • Promoting a quality-first mindset throughout the organization.

Our projects

You will work on a wide variety of custom software solutions, including:

  • Business platforms and portals;
  • Workflow automation systems;
  • API and system integrations;
  • E-commerce solutions;
  • Information portals;
  • Planning and scheduling applications;
  • Event management platforms;
  • Data-driven business applications.

No two projects are exactly alike, which means there is always something new to learn, improve, and contribute to.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical testing skills with a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for software quality.

Required

  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance;
  • Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test strategies;
  • Experience with functional, integration, regression, acceptance, and exploratory testing;
  • Experience testing APIs and backend systems;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • A proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership;
  • Attention to detail combined with pragmatic decision-making.

Nice to have

  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar;
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia;
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices;
  • Experience working in custom software development or software agencies;
  • A basic understanding of software architecture, databases, and integrations.
