FULL-TIME or PART-TIME work—both options are available!

You will drive a small electric standup-cart to transport flowers and plants around the auction site. It is fun, simple work; anyone can operate the cart (no driver's license or qualifications required)! It is not physically strenuous, making it an excellent choice for men and women, including those over 50 or 60!

GOOD EARNINGS:

Starting wage for ORDERPICKER / DISTRIBUTOR: gross hourly wage of €16.60 + an additional €3.00 per hour in accrued benefits (holiday pay/allowances).

Job description for ORDERPICKER / DISTRIBUTOR: You drive your cart through a massive warehouse (a large hall) and hitch a trolley full of flowers or plants to your cart at the pick-up point. You then receive instructions and drive to the correct drop-off point within the warehouse. You work independently inside the warehouse but as part of a large team of colleagues performing the exact same orderpicking and collection tasks.

For the position of ORDERPICKER / DISTRIBUTOR (also known as warehouse worker, logistics employee, or order assembler), we are looking for:

PART-TIME employees who can work weekday mornings. (Monday morning through Friday morning) Weekly, starting with a minimum of 2 mornings. Naturally, we’d be delighted if you could work more mornings! You can work up to 5 mornings a week, resulting in a workweek of approximately 25 hours. On average, the workday lasts about 5 hours. Your shift's end time depends on the workload, so it is flexible. In short, there is plenty of time left to plan other activities for the rest of your day.

FULL-TIME employees who can work weekdays (Monday through Friday during the day). You will work in a refrigerated area performing similar orderpicking tasks (including using the electric standup-cart!). You will be provided with a warm coat, gloves, a neckwarmer, and a hat. FloraHolland also provides thermal clothing upon request (ordered to fit). It’s a great job! (+ €0.18 extra per hour cold-environment allowance)

It’s always an early start at FloraHolland. Shifts for the flower department begin at 6:00 AM, and for the plant department at 6:30 AM. These positions are therefore only suitable for early birds!

We offer:

  • High Royal FloraHolland salary / high gross wage!
  • Holidays and holiday pay (withdrawal of reservations paid in euros at your own request)
  • Travel allowance from 0 km

Job requirements:

  • In connection with the work, you must be at least 1.65 meters tall.

  • Living within a maximum radius of 50 kilometers from Aalsmeer.
  • Applying for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) may be part of the selection procedure.
