op zoek naar een: Coördinator Company Management (m/v/x)
100% dienstverband (38 uur per week),

Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) behoort tot de absolute top van de hedendaagse dansgezelschappen wereldwijd. Met twee gezelschappen en in totaal 48 dansers reist NDT de hele wereld over. Achter de schermen werkt een bevlogen team van circa 70 professionals dagelijks aan onvergetelijke voorstellingen. Van medische begeleiding en licht- en geluidsontwerp, kostuums, marketing tot educatieve programma’s: alles draait om kwaliteit — en om mensen.

Voor onze afdeling Planning & Touring zoeken wij een coördinator die het Company Management team operationeel aanstuurt.

Wat ga je doen?

Planning & Touring is verantwoordelijk voor het plannen, organiseren en begeleiden van de nationale en internationale tours. Als Coördinator Company Management ben je verantwoordelijk voor de (middel)lange termijn voorbereiding van de internationale tournees, nieuwe producties en speciale projecten zoals het balletgala. Je coördineert de werkzaamheden van de tourende Company Managers voor NDT 1 en NDT 2. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor artistieke teams, met name wanneer de Company Managers reizen. Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met de verschillende afdelingen (o.a. Productie en voorstellingsleiding, Operations, Kostuumatelier, Talentontwikkeling & Educatie, en Marketing, Communicatie & Development).

• Je adviseert over de haalbaarheid en houd je bezig met het plannen van voorlopige internationale tourschema’s op de (middel)lange termijn.
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het voorbereiden van internationale tournees, binnen het gegeven budget en in samenwerking met andere afdelingen zoals Operations en coördineert de werkverdeling van de Company Managers.
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie, organisatie en begeleiding van programma’s, binnenlandse voorstellingen en speciale projecten.
• Je coördineert de bezoeken van de gastdocenten per seizoen en fungeert als contactpersoon.
• Je handelt contractuele afspraken af en verwerkt deze in de administratie en planningstool (Yesplan).
• Je coördineert de jaarlijkse auditie en ondersteunt de dansers en artistieke teams.

Wie ben jij?
Naast liefde voor cultuur en oog voor detail, herken jij jezelf in het volgende:

• Je hebt een HBO werk- en denkniveau
• Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in de theatersector, bij voorkeur touren en produceren.
• Je beheerst zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal goed, in woord en geschrift. Andere talen is een pré.
• Je bent flexibel en stressbestendig en hebt goede organisatorische vaardigheden.
• Je bent representatief en communicatief sterk.
• Je kunt zowel zelfstandig functioneren als in een team.
• Je hebt kennis van en ervaring met plannen, roosteren, de ATW en CAO
• Algemene kennis van de internationale hedendaagse danssector en interesse in hedendaagse dans is een pre.

Company Management Coordinator (x/f/m)

Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) is one of the world’s leading contemporary dance companies. With two companies and a total of 48 dancers, NDT tours the globe. Behind the scenes, a passionate team of around 70 professionals works daily to create unforgettable performances. From medical support, lighting and sound design, costumes and marketing to educational programmes: everything revolves around quality — and people.

We are looking for a Coordinator for our Planning & Touring department to coordinate and provide operational leadership to the Company Management team.

What You’ll Do?

Planning & Touring is responsible for planning, organising and overseeing national and international tours. As Company Management Coordinator, you are responsible for the medium- to long-term planning and preparation of international tours, new productions and special projects such as the ballet gala. You will coordinate the work of the Company Managers on tour for NDT 1 and NDT 2. You will act as the point of contact for artistic teams, particularly when the Company Managers are travelling. In addition, you will work closely with the various departments (including Production and Stage Management, Operations, Costume Workshop, Talent Development & Education, and Marketing, Communications & Development).

• You will advise on feasibility and be involved in planning provisional international tour schedules for the medium to long term.
• You will be responsible for preparing international tours, within the given budget and in collaboration with other departments such as Operations, and for coordinating the allocation of tasks amongst the Company Managers.
• You are responsible for the coordination, organisation and supervision of programmes, domestic performances and special projects.
• You coordinate the visits of guest teachers each season and act as the point of contact.
• You handle contractual agreements and process them in the administration and planning tool (Yesplan).
• You will coordinate the annual auditions and support the dancers and artistic teams.

Who Are You?

As well as a passion for culture and an eye for detail, you will recognise yourself in the following:

• You have an HBO working and thinking level (higher professional education)
• You have at least 5 years’ experience in the theatre sector, preferably in touring and production.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• You are flexible, able to cope well under pressure and have good organisational skills.
• You present yourself professionally and have strong communication skills.
• You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• You have knowledge of and experience with planning, scheduling, the Working Hours Act (ATW) and the collective labour agreement (CAO)
• General knowledge of the international contemporary dance sector and an interest in contemporary dance are an advantage.
