Who you are:

You are someone who finds meaning or purpose in being of service to others and expressing that through 5 star luxury customer service. You have a high standard of customer service excellence, demonstrated experience in driving revenue, a sharp eye for detail and love building strong relationships.

  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years spa management experience or experience in a similar management role within a 5 star hospitality environment.
  • You have strong leadership skills, lead by example and are able to inspire and manage a diverse team of therapists and receptionists.
  • You have demonstrated experience with financial reporting, can read and understand where you can impact the P&L and forecasting.
  • You are tech savvy, organised and have demonstrated experience with systems, shift scheduling and have used appointment management software. If you have used Fresha or Table check, that's a bonus.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are a self-starter, able to look around corners and manage your and your team's resources accordingly to deliver exceptional service and maximise capacity.
  • You are familiar with the LQA - Leading hotels of the world assessment and comfortable maintaining the daily SOP’s with the team to reflect that level of 5-star standard
  • You are flexible to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • You are someone who enjoys staying close to the numbers of the business and being creative with marketing and partnerships to drive revenue.
  • You are a natural sales person who always takes the opportunity to upsell and enhance the guests' experience.
  • You get satisfaction in maintaining the highest standards of customer experience.
  • You are someone who takes pride in being a brand ambassador for 5 star luxury
  • You have ideally been a therapist in a 5-star hospitality environment before and happy to still do treatments when occasionally required.
  • You are fluent in English (Dutch is a plus but not a requirement)

What you will do:

We are offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Spa Manager to join our prestigious 5-star spa. As the Spa Manager you will oversee all aspects of spa operations, leading a team of receptionists and therapists to drive revenue, manage hotel and partnership relationships and achieve quality targets.

  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a diverse team of therapists, receptionists
  • Foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and collaboration;
  • Conduct routine training and performance evaluations to uphold 5-star standards.
  • Guest Experience & Service Quality
  • Ensure an unparalleled spa journey from booking to post-visit follow-up;
  • Handle feedback promptly, address service shortcomings, and drive continuous improvement;
  • Collaborate with hotel departments (F&B, Rooms) to deliver holistic wellness offerings.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Implement SOPs for seamless daily operations (appointment scheduling, inventory management, vendor relations);
  • Oversee facility maintenance, ensuring pristine cleanliness and an ambience befitting a luxury flagship;
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and brand guidelines.
  • Financial & KPI Management
  • Manage the spa budget, optimising revenue (treatments, retail, memberships) while controlling costs;
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (spa occupancy, average spend, retail upsell) to drive growth and profitability;
  • Contribute to quarterly/annual forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Marketing & Brand Collaboration
  • Partner with our marketing team to develop promotions, packages, and special events;
  • Represent the spa’s identity in alignment with broader hotel brand standards;
  • Build local partnerships and community outreach programmes.

The Recruitment Process:

  • We will conduct an initial 30 minute discovery call to get to know you better and answer any initial questions you have about the role, our company and what you would be in for.
  • If there is mutual chemistry, you will be invited for an in-person 60 minute interview with the Spa manager and if successful you will be processed to the next round of 60 minute interview with our COO.
  • Next (If you are a therapist) there will be a therapist assessment of your skills with our head therapist and trainer.
  • The last step will be a meet and greet with our founders and then a possible offer would be made.
