As a shift leader you'll be a key player in overseeing daily operations at our bustling Ter Marsch & Co Amsterdam location. Your role involves managing the day-to-day activities, supporting the manager, and ensuring smooth operations on the floor. You'll actively work with and lead the team, and maintaining a high standard of guest experience. With your energy and leadership, you'll motivate the team, serve as a reliable point of contact, and continuously strive for improvement by setting a strong example.

The Role

• You take charge of the team, the business, and making sure guests are happy during your shift.
• You have experience managing and lead the service team to hit their goals and keep standards high.
• You’re a natural when it comes to hospitality.
• You keep things organized in a busy environment, making sure service stays top-notch.
• You motivate the team to hit important goals, like getting great Google reviews
• You make sure all new employees are properly trained and ready to go
• You help the team grow by offering on-the-job training and setting a good example.
• As a role model, you inspire, guide, and coach the team, working alongside them and adjusting as needed
• You handle stress well, juggling different tasks and always putting operations first.
• You’re available to work on weekends, especially on busy days like Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

• In possession of a Social Hygiene certificate; if not, the company will cover the cost. Terms and conditions to be discussed.
• A BSN number is required, and you should live in the Amsterdam area
