About the vacancy:
To support our further worldwide growth, we are looking to recruit a Financial (division) controller to join our Financial Department. You will be positioned within the internationally operating team. This team’s activities include amongst others consolidated monthly reporting, further development of monthly management reporting, audit work for group and group entities, year-end consolidation and reporting for the group and contributions to NewCold accounting manual and related position papers for complex accounting topics. You will report to the VP Corporate Controlling for the NewCold Group and the Director Finance Director of Haven Ventures and will work together with the other team members of the Reporting Department. You will be based in the company’s headquarters in Breda.

What will you do?

• Maintenance (& implementation) of accounting policies, procedures and governance
• Financial control on the Holding activities for the Haven Ventures Group in close coordination with the Financial Shared Service Centre
• Monthly consolidated reporting for the Haven Ventures Group
• Maintenance of Haven Ventures reporting and consolidation tool (together with the other team members of Reporting Department)
• Annual reporting and auditing process (for group and other purposes) based on IFRS
• Annual reporting for statutory purposes for all Dutch legal entities in the Haven Ventures group and monitor compliance for other entities within this group together with local
• Monitor Capex process for Haven Ventures Group
• Monitor the intercompany flows and positions within the group and solve variances
• Assist in compliance for tax returns for the Dutch legal entities
• Participation in projects like integration of new acquisitions
• Maintain a set of effective procedures and controls to support effective and efficient execution of the above-mentioned tasks

Who are we looking for?

You are a finance professional who is ready for the next step in his/her career. You are eager to learn new skills, share what you know, expand your network and contribute to the continued growth of Haven Ventures and NewCold. You have an affinity for financial accounting and financial reporting and preferably you have relevant experience with regard to working in an international and corporate organization. In addition, you have:

• A relevant academic or Bachelor degree
• At least 5-8 years of work experience in financial accounting and financial reporting within an auditing firm or a similar background within an international organization
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced transaction-driven environment
• Proven IFRS knowledge and experience
• Experience with consolidation tools
• Highly proficient in English (preferably Dutch), any other European language is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills
