International Manager Operations (fulltime)
Based in Belgium, the Netherlands or (North) France
Lead operations, innovation and improvements across multiple sites

At Coolrec, part of Renewi, we transform e-waste into valuable secondary raw materials. We have three e-waste recycling sites and one specialized plastics recycling facility across our footprint in Belgium, the Netherlands and France. We're searching for an inspiring Operations Manager to steer our multi-site operations, ensuring compliance, excellence and innovation in everything we do.
You will work on shaping Coolrec’s operations vision and strategy in the context of changing market conditions and regulations. You lead and inspire your team and ensure a climate in which everyone can contribute, grow, and be respected. You are used to managing production sites and you want to be there where your team is, so you are willing to visit our 4 sites regularly to empower your teams.

Your Mission:

• As the driving force behind our operations, you’ll:
• Guide and develop the Coolrec site managers, i.e. your direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration and leadership.
• Monitor and improve our sites’ operational performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and commercial obligations.
• Be responsible for optimising the synergy across the 4 sites concerning e.g. logistics, production, maintenance and CAPEX investments to keep us ahead of the curve.
• Champion innovation by implementing best practices and cutting-edge processes.
• Partner with teams across Sales, Finance, HR, and Safety/Compliance to shape strategic plans and budgets.

What do you bring?

You’re a dynamic leader with experience in manufacturing or recycling, skilled at balancing strategy and hands-on execution. You thrive on teamwork, inspire others, and are always looking for ways to improve and innovate. You feel most at home in a fast-growing, smaller, flexible, flat organization with an international focus, which is part of a larger corporate organization. You are comfortable leading your teams and overseeing multiple sites in different countries.

• You have at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a technical background.
• You are a strong facilitating leader with broad experience in leading a team of professionals in an international context and across multiple sites.
• You are willing to travel frequently within Europe (Belgium, France, Netherlands).
• Your drive, passion and ambition ensure you will succeed in what you do. You share our ambition of growing our business and our results.
• Given its international character you are excellent in English and preferably you speak some Dutch and/or French as well.

You are part of the Management Team of Coolrec, reporting to its Managing Director (Bas van Ginkel). The Coolrec Management team consists of a Business Line Controller, a Sales Manager, a Business Development & Engineering Manager, a SHEQ Manager and an HR Manager.
