About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative – Logistics to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring exceptional service and efficient coordination of warehouse and transportation activities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining seamless operations and fostering strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence:
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  • Resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and customer meetings.
  • Ensure execution aligns with client expectations.
  • Operational Coordination:
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound warehouse activities.
  • Ensure bookings through WMS, TMS, or third-party systems.
  • Organize import and export documentation.
  • Take ownership of assigned account supply chains.
  • Ensure accurate billing procedures.
  • Address and escalate operational issues to the Team Lead.
  • Transportation and Distribution:
  • Plan and optimize transportation solutions.
  • Monitor and track shipments for on-time delivery.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Analyze data and metrics to refine logistics processes.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and freight forwarding departments.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and external partners.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • On-time order processing rate.
  • Operational efficiency.
  • Effective communication and collaboration.
  • Process improvement initiative success rate.
  • Customer satisfaction (CSAT, CES).

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service within the logistics industry.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (Excel, WMS, TMS).
  • Knowledge of import and export, customs procedures is a plus.
  • Dutch and English language.
  • Flexibility to also work at our location at Schiphol South East.
  • Ability to work in a team.
