What will you do as a software developer?

You will run Google Cloud Platform implementations for our clients. This involves the design, development, and roll-out of implementations. New functionalities will be translated into new Google Cloud Platform features.

You will also develop new features that are relevant to specific clients or more of them. You will be responsible for the maintenance of delivered implementations on both a technical and functional level, proactively monitoring Google Cloud Platform implementations.

As you advance in your career and move into a Lead Developer role, you will:

• Define Google Cloud Platform architecture
• Define standards and tooling
• Execute quality control on deliverables
• Plan bugs, features, and other development activities based on client priorities
• Report status to the client
• Expand your skills in the Data Scientist area

Knowledge and skills

Programming languages:

• Java, Python, SQL

Technical skills:

• Work with build environment (continuous integration)
• Frontend development with usability considerations

Other skills:

• Analytical mindset
• Accurate way of working
• Eager to learn and enthusiastic

Methodologies:

• Test-driven development
• Object orientation/modeling via UML
• Work in an agile team according to Scrum methodology
• Scripting (Shell)

Other requirements:

• Live in the Netherlands
• Strong English language skills
