RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Match carrier capacity to shipments to ensure smooth freight movement
• Build and grow freight opportunities while managing specific shipments as needed
• Secure capacity by negotiating rates, buying effectively, and collaborating directly with carriers
• Develop and maintain strong carrier relationships through outreach, regular communication, and account reviews
• Collaborate with internal teams and carriers to solve issues and provide shipment updates
• Promote and implement carrier automation tools to streamline operations
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies
• Use data and analytics to guide informed decisions and carrier interactions
• Identify new business opportunities with carriers through proactive engagement
• Adapt to team needs and support business goals while working closely with carriers

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or college
• Experience in road freight forwarding
• Open-minded and adaptable
• Team player with a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident in negotiation, persuasion, and influencing techniques.
• Skilled in prioritizing tasks and performing under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Fluent English
