Role

Join the Format Development team in the Antibody Research & Technologies department as an intern. Work closely with scientists and research associates to explore the mechanisms of engineered antibodies. You will be contributing to the creation of cutting-edge antibody platform-technologies that form the basis of knock-your-socks-off antibody therapeutics. If you're passionate about groundbreaking research and innovation, this opportunity at Genmab could be the perfect fit for you!


You will be working closely together with research associates, developing new immunomodulatory antibody therapeutics inspired by Genmab’s DuoBody and HexaBody technologies. During the internship, you will apply a range of techniques, including:


  • Luminescence-based cellular reporter assays to measure target receptor activity
  • Cell viability assays
  • Flow cytometry
  • Cell culture


You will also broaden your understanding of applied human immunology, and develop skills in data analysis, report writing and verbal communication of your work.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree (life science)connected to a Dutch University
  • Technical knowledge: Cell culture, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Microscopy
  • Lab-based (technical knowledge: Cell culture, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Microscopy)
  • The duration of the internship is a minimum of 6 months
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture is a plus
