We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Railway Logistics Sales to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and managing accounts within the railway logistics sector, focusing on delivering efficient and effective rail transport solutions for our clients with focus on transport (FCL,LCL) to and from China.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the railway logistics sector.
• Respond to emails daily to provide quotes for client inquiries in Europa and China
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the business network.

Account Management:

• Manage existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Provide tailored railway logistics solutions to meet clients' specific needs and requirements.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Conduct regular reviews with clients to understand their logistics challenges and goals.

Logistics Planning and Coordination:

• Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of rail transport solutions.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Strategically allocate resources to optimize cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Conduct monthly analysis of margins to ensure proper cost reduction measures are in place.

Sustainability and Compliance:

• Promote sustainable railway logistics practices and solutions to clients.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Assist in managing risk assessments and implementing safety measures for railway logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales and account management within the logistics industry, with a focus on railway logistics.
• Strong understanding of railway logistics operations, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue business growth opportunities.
• Experience in promoting and implementing sustainable logistics solutions.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for logistics management and tracking.

Also willing to travel within Europe and China during the year.

English: in writing and spoken language must be at a reasonable level
