Job Purpose:
The Logistics Supervisor is a vital role between the Head of Supply Chain and the Team Leaders ensuring a smooth operation and managing key activities through leading & coaching the Team Leaders, overseeing recruitment and ensuring alignment between the planning specialist and process administration functions.
Reporting and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) which forms a critical part to ensure the fulfilment of customer orders smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders to ensure performance excellence by providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their capabilities, collaborating on the completion of Achievement & Development Summaries (ADS) to set clear objectives and actionable development plans, and monitoring progress with constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain employee timesheets, manage absence management including reporting, to ensure smooth team operations.
- Manage the order processing and fulfillment for recognition pins.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for ordering promotional materials.
- Ensure alignment and communication between the planning specialist and process administration roles for seamless operations.
- Create, maintain and report on the Logistics KPIs, and driving improvements where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reviewing and updating annually.
- Participate in recruitment activities, ensuring the selection of talent for the logistics team.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks within Logistics and escalate to the Head of Supply chain with proposed actions.
- Promote a secure, safe, and healthy work environment by implementing and upholding company policies and legal regulations.
- A H&S committee member to facilitate and maintain high standards within the warehouse.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to maintain and exceed delivery service level agreements.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and developing teams within a Logistics environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proficient in warehouse procedures and policies.
- Health & Safety qualifications preferred (e.g.VCA, BHV).
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, Dutch would be an advantage .
- Excellent skills in the MS office.
- Ability to analyse data and implement process improvements.
