Job Description

Your role as Sales Support Officer

As International Sales Support Officer you will support the sales manager with sales quotations and managing essential back-office tasks. From an engineering view, you will help customers on both sales and engineering field including remote technical support.

️ Your tasks:

• As an International Sales Support Officer you work independently and your main task is maintaining network contacts worldwide, which includes regular communication with clients regarding technical specifications.
• As an international sales support officer you contribute to the optimization of sales processes in the back office and take initiatives to promote the products.
• For promotional purposes, you support the sales network by attending trade shows both domestically and internationally, and you provide sales product training at the client’s location or your base location.
• For this reason, you are willing to travel several times a year and can easily adapt to different international cultures, depending on the number of actions and trade shows planned.
• You have a technical background, enabling you to independently provide technical configurations support to clients with the necessary solutions as a sparring partner.

Qualifications

What you offer:

Must have:

• You possess bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Technical Business Administration (Sales/Marketing);
• Preferably, you have several years of experience or extensive experience in a similar role;
• You are enterprising, results-oriented, commercial, and capable of opening doors;
• Additionally, as an international sales support officer, you are practical, solution-oriented, and persuasive;
• You have a passion for both people and technology;
• You are willing to travel internationally on occasions and have a global mindset;
• You have a good knowledge of English, and fluency in at least two more additional languages (Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Mandarin);
• You live within 50km of Berkel and Roderijs location.

Nice to have:

• You have knowledge of professional audio systems (fire and safety systems).
• You have knowledge of building management systems.
• You possess knowledge of B2B sales.
