B-Securité is looking for Trainee Control room Centralists to remotely secure Basic-Fit sports clubs.

Fitness and cardio are unavoidable in 2024. Basic-Fit, with over 1000 sports clubs across five countries, is the world's fastest-growing chain in the sports industry. To keep all athletes and employees safe, an independent organization has been established to secure these sports clubs remotely. In Hoofddorp, you will find one of the most beautiful and most high-tech alarm centers. By combining high-quality technical infrastructure, knowledge, and people, B-Securité makes a difference time and time again with 'remote security'.

Where You Will Work

Basic-Fit is one of the fastest-growing gym chains worldwide, with locations across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Germany and Spain. The ambition is to expand to 2000 sports clubs in the coming years! To ensure that athletes can exercise safely and Basic-Fit employees can do their jobs safely, it was decided in 2018 to modernize the security of sports clubs with the help of intelligent (AI) cameras.

The Monitoring Alarm Receiving Center (MARC) of B-Securité is equipped with advanced technology, such as aggression detection, people count due to COVID-19, anomaly detection, and advanced analysis tools. The MARC is specially organized as a Business Alarm Center (BAC) for the Basic-Fit safety chain. The MARC chain consists of intelligent camera and detection systems with the latest communication technology. Currently, a large portion of Basic-Fit sports clubs across Europe are 'live' connected via a high-speed international fiber network. With this approach, B-Securité's MARC can effectively and efficiently secure the connected Basic-Fit sports clubs, provide customer service, conduct research, and perform live camera surveillance on request from Basic-Fit.

A Day in the Life of a Trainee Control room Centralist

It's time for your workday. You arrive in your tailored suit, greet your colleagues, and store your belongings in your locker. You grab a delicious cup of coffee and then check in at the modern Monitoring Alarm Receiving Center. The on-duty Supervisor gathers the new shift to start the service. After discussing any special notes and exceptions, the shift is handed over.

You take your seat at your observation desk and open your email and daily reports to read up on any potential issues. You read that a new sports club has successfully gone live! Suddenly, an alert pops up on your screen: one of the athletes at a sports club has fallen hard from the treadmill! The intelligent camera in the sports club has triggered an alarm. Thanks to your attentiveness and alert attitude, you know what to do. You contact a Basic-Fit employee on-site and start recording the incident. You inquire about the situation and, together with your colleagues, ensure that the athlete is brought to safety and receives the necessary medical care. An ambulance is required. You ensure it arrives on site. You remain calm and handle the situation efficiently.

The athlete is now in good hands. Thanks to your alert and decisive attitude, you had the situation under control. You start creating an incident report to close the case and move on to the next alert. Well done!

How to Become a Trainee Control room Centralist

You will be trained! After a training period of about two years, you will develop into an Allround Centralist, where you will independently perform various tasks in the Monitoring Alarm Receiving Center. You will become an expert in recognizing abnormal behavior and will know exactly what to do in crisis situations at sports clubs.

• You start with a one-year contract. After two years of training, if you perform well, you will receive a permanent contract.
• A starting salary of €2,189 to €2,530 gross (depending on experience and competencies) per 4 weeks based on 38 hours, excluding irregularity and weekend allowances.

• First Interview
• During a personal interview in Naarden at Fortress, you will receive an explanation about B-Securité, the work, and the training program, and we will discuss your motivation.
• If we are both enthusiastic, we will schedule a follow-up interview at B-Securité in Hoofddorp.
• Second Interview and Tour
• During this interview, you will have a second conversation and then a tour, where you see the worklocation.
• Final Interview
• In the final interview, we discuss details such as salary, training program, etc., so you are ready to start.
• You are Hired!
• You will start as a Trainee Control room Centralist at B-Securité.

Requirements

• At least an MBO level 2 diploma.
• Availability of 24 - 38 hours per week.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Willingness to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and make decisions.
• A desire to keep developing and open to feedback, training, and courses to perform your work even better.
