Introduction

ASML has organized a dedicated reverse supply chain organization that enables re-using of materials in our supply chain. Within this relatively new Reverse Supply Chain Operations department, we are looking for a manager to lead operational team(s) and set-up mature scalable processes. The scope of this team will be changing over time as we are continuously centralizing reverse supply chain activities and drive the End-2-End Reverse Supply Chain activities.

Job Mission

The Reverse Supply Chain Operations department is operationalizing and driving the reverse supply chain process from an E-2-E perspective. This covers activities over several operational departments like factories, suppliers and supply chain departments.

Your mission will be to lead an operational team(s) that originates from several operational departments in ASML. You ensure we create new and mature existing operational processes to further drive material availability and Re-Use manage performance metrics to measure your teams’ performance and drive for continuous improvement. Besides, you manage your defect inventory and work with cross-sectoral teams to find new Re-Use opportunities.

Job Description

As a Reverse Supply Chain Operations Manager, you are managing several processes that require cross-department collaboration to meet the ambitions of the reverse supply chain. Overall, you:

  • Manage and report out on performance metrics (e.g. Inventory levels, Cycle times, Re-Use value generated)
  • Drive the E2E supply chain for your processes
  • Connecting the factory supply chain with our customer supply chain to pro-actively redistribute materials between the flows
  • Drive improvements initiatives for the material reverse flow that enable material Re-Use
  • Develop and drive for implementation of a supplier reconditioning strategy to reduce reconditioning cycle time
  • Create & implement new opportunities for process improvement that contribute to the overall ambition for ASML on material Re-Use
  • Develop and support your team members in their daily activities

Education

Relevant Mater degree (e.g. in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering)

Experience

  • Operational Manager that strives for flawless execution operations (>8 years' experience, preferably with a supply chain focus)
  • Track record of leading process improvement projects, setting up teams or departments showing the needed change management skills are a must
  • Having people management skills are a must
  • A tactical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical and able to organize and prioritize workload
  • Team player that is capable to collaborate with other teams and stakeholders
