ABOUT THE JOB

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge automatic applicator systems for industrial coating application. You’ll take ownership of complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in electrical design and system integration. Your deep expertise in tools like EPLAN P8 and compliance with international standards will be key to delivering high-performance, reliable solutions.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and optimization of detailed electrical schematics using EPLAN P8 (or similar)
  • Design and implement electrical systems in full compliance with NEN 3140, IEC 60204-1 and CE standards
  • Evaluate and select advanced sensors and components to optimize system performance
  • Oversee the assembly and testing of electrical cabinets and prototypes
  • Apply advanced EMC principles and ensure functional safety in design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Professional qualifications and skills:

Must have requirements

  • M.Sc./BSc/BA degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role
  • Advanced proficiency with EPLAN P8 or similar tools
  • Strong expertise in electrical system design, EMC, and CE compliance
  • Proven hands-on experience in lab testing and troubleshooting.

Nice-to-Have requirements

  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python or similar languages)
  • Hands-on experience programming PLCs for industrial automation
  • Knowledge of ISO 13849 functional safety standards for machinery
  • Familiarity with NEN 3140 and IEC 60204- safety standards and ATEX certification.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven ability to innovate and deliver practical solutions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work across multidisciplinary teams
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
