About Aero Express
Our company provides logistics and customs clearance services for large cross-border e-commerce sellers and logistics providers. Since our establishment in 2017, we have been deeply involved in European cross-border logistics and the import-related customs clearance business. To support our fast-growing company, we are looking for Warehouse Team Leaders to join our team.
About the job position
Our Warehouse is operational 7 days a week, consisting of a day and evening shift. The Warehouse team has about 50 workers with various cultural backgrounds. Together with the team we strive to carry out the daily tasks, meet the quality standards and ensure the timely processing of goods.
The Warehouse Team Leader has the following responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the tasks in the Warehouse, such as receiving, checking in and breaking down aircraft pallets, preparing cargos for (transit) transport, loading the goods into trucks/containers and cleaning workspaces or materials.
- Coordination of operational activities of the assigned shift.
- Provide operational guidance and coaching employees.
- Follow work instructions and S.O.P.’s, process the corresponding administrative tasks
- Assist Warehouse manager and Supervisor to optimize the Warehouse operation process and improve the cargo handling efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment following, enforcing safety standards and procedures.
- Collaborating with colleagues inside and outside the warehouse department.
Requirements
· Ideally 2 to 5 years of working experience in the Logistic field
· Ability to evaluate the daily tasks, clearly assign tasks to team members, provide guidance to team members.
· Fluent in English, Dutch is appriciated.
· Open minded and sees operational challenges as a chance to learn,
· A valid VOG is required to work at our company
· A valid reach-truck certificate is a bonus.
