Restaurant Canvas – on the seventh floor of Volkshotel – is looking for a dishwasher. From early morning until late at night, Canvas is a place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. A meeting place where many different people cross paths. Do you work quickly and thoroughly? Then you might be our newest colleague.

Are you:

• At least 18 years old?

• Stress-resistant and flexible (working until at least 1 AM is no problem for you)?

• Living in Amsterdam (or nearby)?

• Do you speak Dutch and/or English?

Here’s what your day looks like: Take a dip in our hot tubs and sauna on the eighth floor before your shift. You can use these for free. Then you clock in and take the elevator to the seventh floor. As a dishwasher for Canvas and Volkshotel, you work at the heart of the operation, ensuring all dishes are washed quickly and thoroughly. After the kitchen closes, you make sure it’s clean and fresh for the next day. You are flexible and also help tidy other areas of Volkshotel when it’s quiet. You don’t want to go home yet? You don’t have to, as an employee you get a discount on everything (programming, rooms, food & drink) in the hotel.

What do we offer? This is a position for 20-30 hours per week, 3-4 days a week. Salary in conformity with the hospitality industry CLA and in accordance with your responsibilities. As an employee of Volkshotel you can stay at the hotel one night per year for free.
