Your role

As a User Researcher, you are responsible for driving continuous product discovery, leading quantitative and qualitative research projects, and embedding the customer's voice in product teams. Your work feeds into crafting solutions that lift the customer experience, are true painkillers to solve user problems, drive engagement, and deliver WOW on every touchpoint.
Your scope of user research is in the field of product, focused on the EV driver as well as our colleagues, who are using in-house developed products to deliver the best charging experience. You will work as a member of the Product & Engineering UX team, side by side with scrum teams and stakeholders, advocating for the voice of the customer. Additionally, you will have opportunities to apply UX research techniques such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, contextual inquiries, journey mapping, card sorting, A/B testing, solution validation, and data analysis to uncover actionable insights and improve user experiences.

Your overall responsibilities include

• Focus on user research and drive continuous discovery across the product development lifecycle

• Contribute to user research strategy development and execution

• You are able to lead and organize research planning from assumption to insight generation

• Embed the voice of the customer in product teams, planning and initiatives

• Support user testing and solution validation in conjunction with Product Design

• Take ownership of embedding and advocating user needs through digital user personas and journey development

• Drive quantitative and qualitative research efforts in conjunction with key stakeholders

• Collaborate with Data & Insights and Commercial team for driving informed decision making

• Improve research methods and embed best practices in the product development lifecycle

Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

• You have a 3 years professional experience as a User Researcher or a similar role (e.g. UI/UX or Product Design);

• You have an expertise in user research and driving continuous discovery in a product context;

• Strong storytelling and presentation skills to communicate insights clearly and effectively;

• You are seasoned in the application of qualitative and quantitative research methods;

• You have a keen eye for identifying opportunities to deliver a delightful and inspiring experience;

• You bring solid experience with building research stack & practice, e.g. through workshops, stakeholder sessions and other opportunities for embedding the voice of the customer;

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (A11Y) and inclusive research practices;

• You are a problem solver who brings customer-centered, detail oriented and critical thinking;

• You have a strong affinity with the energy transition and the Fastned mission;

• Since this role involves significant direct user contact, fluency in English is required, Dutch preferred.
