- An MBO+/HBO degree in Quality Assurance, Business administration, Life Sciences or equivalent through experience
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, MDD 93/42/EEC and/or EU MDR 2017/745 is a plus
- Experience with cold-chain management and temperature monitoring systems is a plus
- Experience with CoAs, DoCs and CE certificates is preferred
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Experience with an international set-up
- Motivated problem solver with the ability to work independently
- Good communicator and team player with a hands-on mentality
- Robust and flexible mindset
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound computer literacy – proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory, Dutch is a plus
At CooperSurgical we are currently looking to recruit a Quality Assurance coordinator . You will be part of the CooperSurgical quality team in our Distribution and logistics center in Venlo, the Netherlands.
The QA Coordinator will be reporting to the QA manager.
Location: Venlo, the Netherlands and onsite.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
Position
The QA Coordinator will play an active role in maintaining and supporting quality assurance processes within the Distribution Center. In the role as QA Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes at the CooperSurgical Distribution Center meet the established quality standards and regulations such as Good Manufacturing & Distribution practices, ISO 13485 as well as company quality and regulatory requirements.
This role involves monitoring, inspecting and coordinating quality assurance activities to maintain the highest level of Operational excellence. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting incoming goods inspection and acceptance activities as needed. One of the crucial parts of the role is the QA release of incoming unreleased Media shipments.
The QA Coordinator will work closely with internal stakeholders such as Operations and Transportation as well as the international organization, to address quality concerns, to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure quality, integrity and safety of our products throughout the distribution chain.
The QA Coordinator has good communication skills and plays an important role in taking ownership to handle and solve quality related topics and processes.
You thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable juggling several complex tasks while keeping an eye on the details. You will work closely together with Quality and relevant stakeholders locally and globally.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection of incoming products to ensure compliance with quality standards/specifications
- Coordination of activities involving QA release of incoming, unreleased materials
- Deviation management - root cause analysis and CAPA
- Ensure storage, handling and shipping of products is in line with quality requirements
- Train staff in quality standards, procedures and best practices
- Maintain document and procedures
- Assist with company change, risk management and validation practices
- Manage and maintain calibration program for temperature loggers
- Ensure compliance to EU MDR Importer and Distributor responsibilities including verification obligations are completed on time
