EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.

Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. We connect public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, finance and knowledge.

Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.

Be part of a team where:

The Impact Ventures department is the investment arm of EIT Urban Mobility. We are a dynamic, international team specialising in impact-driven startup investments and acceleration within the mobility sector. As we expand our focus, we are developing new programmes and co-investment strategies in partnership with both public and private stakeholders.

Tasks will involve, but not be limited to:

• Support Strategy Development: Assist in designing and refining co-investment strategies by integrating insights from both public and private sector investment models.
• Conduct Research & Analysis: Evaluate investment processes used across sectors, analyse mobility market trends, startup funding dynamics, and innovation pathways to generate actionable insights.
• Cross-Sector Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to understand their investment frameworks and help ensure alignment with regulatory environments and market needs.
• Investor Network Support: Contribute to the development of a strategic investor network spanning public and private sectors.

What you will bring along the way:

An ideal candidate will strive to generate positive environmental and social impact in line with EIT Urban Mobility’s mission.

Must-have:

• 3–5 years of experience in investment, finance, or a related field (Please note: this is a junior role; candidates with 6+ years of experience will not be considered).
• A strong academic background from a top-tier university in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical abilities with a knack for translating complex data into clear insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in international, diverse team environments.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, impact-oriented culture.
• Full professional proficiency in English (C1 or higher).

Kindly note that this is a permanent and full-time position, and it is based in Amsterdam.

No relocation expenses are granted.

Salary range: €50,000–€75,000 gross annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
