The Role

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will oversee the complete supply chain process, from purchasing to final delivery. You will coordinate with international suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery, manage inventory levels, and optimize warehouse and transportation operations.

You are a proactive professional who takes initiative, independently solves problems, and brings an entrepreneurial mindset to the role. While you thrive in a dynamic environment, you also ensure that every aspect of the process is handled with precision and accuracy. You enjoy the variety this role offers and stay calm under pressure, always keeping a clear focus on delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle (international) procurement of large battery systems and its components, ensuring orders are placed according to the correct demand planning strategy.

• Coordinate sea freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and optimizing shipping costs.

• Oversee communication and stock management with the external warehouse partner, while directly managing internal inventory for installations and service. Ensuring everything is properly documented in the system and prepared for on-time and safe delivery.

• Work closely with internal teams (project management, service, finance and sales) to align supply chain activities with customer demands.

• Maintain accurate supply chain data and provide regular updates on order status and lead times.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction throughout the supply chain.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, preferably in international procurement and logistics.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools is preferred.

• You are intrinsically motivated, organized and able to work in a fast-paced company environment.

• You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language. Knowledge of Chinese language is a plus but not mandatory.
