Senior Tendering Expert for Services specialized in Medium Voltage in The Netherlands

Schneider Electric is a global leader in energy management and automation, and we are seeking a talented and driven Tendering Expert to join our dedicated team in our Services Business.

As a Tendering Expert, you will play a crucial role in preparing and submitting competitive quotations for Power System modernization projects and on demand services, with an emphasis in digital connected applications, utilizing your expertise in Power System hardware, maintenance and customer requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, grow our Services business and collaborate with a diverse and talented team based in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.


What will you do?

  • Analyzing project requirements and technical specifications to develop comprehensive quotations that align with customer needs and project objectives;
  • Research the optimal and most competitive technical-commercial solution to meet customer needs;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales and project management, to ensure accurate and competitive quotations that showcase Schneider Electric's capabilities and value proposition;
  • Providing technical support and expertise to our internal organization;
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for the quotation processes and tools, leveraging your insights and expertise to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Ensure mastering all aspects of the offer for the projects as standard and in medium complexity technical proposal and pricing;
  • Active support of the sales team and alignment of the offer price;
  • Ensure consistency and interfaces from one project or service to another, with account’s habits including lessons learnt, risks, execution set-up and T&Cs;
  • Act as a technical leader for MV for the quotation team.

Qualifications:


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably Electrical , Electrical& Electronics, Power Systems, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus;
  • High technical knowledge in MV equipment and protections relays;
  • Solid understanding of power system design and engineering principles, with experience in the design, implementation, or tendering of power system solutions;
  • Proven experience in tendering, project management, or related roles within the power systems industry, demonstrating a track record of successful tender submissions and customer engagement;
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and project coordination skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, manage multiple priorities effectively, and adapt to evolving project requirements and customer expectations;
  • Fluency in English in daily and professional communication. Dutch will be a plus.

  • You will report to the Services Quotation Manager.
