For our dynamic client in Amsterdam (retail/financial services industry) we are looking for an Accountant (m/v/x) for 40 hours per week.

The key responsibilities of the Accountant in Amsterdam:

• Update and analyze monthly reports for the management team
• Doing first controls with Period end
• Analyzing differences actuals vs plan
• Preparing and carrying out the first stage review of key balance sheet accounts
• Keeping track of sales differences and unsettling transactions
• First point of contact for the client leads on any finance queries
• Support on internal and external audits
• Support on ad hoc project work

Skills and Experience

• You have finished MBO/HBO level Financial degree and has at least 5 years of experience
• Excel skills - competent manipulating data and using SUMIFS, XLOOKUP and Pivot tables
• Experience in handling and manipulating large amounts of data
• Experience with year-end closing and audits
• Speak fluent Dutch & English
