As a Software Tester, your mission is to work efficiently, accurately, and ensure that our software maintains the highest quality. You will examine internal and external requirements, collaborate closely with the development team, and translate these needs into test cases.

In this role, you'll create and document test cases, write automated UI tests, and ensure comprehensive documentation is in place for all software features. You will play a vital part in shaping the quality of our products through a combination of technical skill and proactive involvement. This involves understanding and mapping the needs and expectations of users. Besides your experience, we think it’s just as important that you're as passionate as the rest of our team. You know your how to get things done and enjoy keeping your knowledge and skills up to date.

We expect our employees to be present at one of our offices in the Netherlands (Roosendaal, Rotterdam, Eindhoven or Nijmegen) at least 3 days a week. Working from abroad is not an option.

What will you be doing as Software Tester?

• UI testing (through Selenium)
• End-to-end and integration testing
• Performance testing
• Automation of front-end and backend functionalities
• Preparation of test plans and reports
• Analysing test results
• Actively and proactively contribute to improving your work
• Create and work on End-User Documentation
• Organising workshops/UAT’s for internal stakeholders

This is you

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• A Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification
• You either speak Dutch or English on C2 level
• Proficient in coding (Microsoft Stack)
• Able read/create UML diagrams
• You have knowledge of: C#, SQL databases and .NET Core
• You have experience with Selenium and SpecFlow (BDD)

What do we have to offer you?

• Salary, of course. Classification depends on work experience and education level, ranging from €50.000 to €60.000 gross per year based on a fulltime employment contract (incl. holiday allowance)
• In addition to the gross salary, a performance-dependent bonus of up to 6% of the annual salary.
• A nice working-from-home fee of €2,65 euros per day, because at ABF you get the opportunity and tools to work from home too.

• 28 vacation days on a full-time basis if you promise to go on vacation. ABF offers a holiday allowance of 8.5% instead of 8%. This helps with booking that epic vacation you’ve always wanted!

• Travel expense allowance of €0,23 per kilometer (starting at a minimum of a one way trip of 10 kilometers and a maximum of €180 per month)
