The Procurement Specialist leads the project procurement activities ensuring the assigned projects obtain the most competitive pricing for their purchases of goods and services, striving for the lowest Total Cost of Ownership while meeting the defined quality and sustainability standards, and respecting the project time constraints.

In the role of Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Support project delivery from ideation to handover to operations.
• Participate and execute the project procurement plan including performing suppliers and contractors sourcing and pre-qualification, preparing RFP, inviting to bid and following up on contract drafting by legal.
• Lead commercial negotiations in tandem with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct supplier's evaluation.
• Ensure the right connection between internal project stakeholders, consultants, suppliers and contractors.

To be successful in the role of Procurement Specialist, you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement or Purchasing.
• At least 5 years prior experience in an industrial or construction environment.
• Strategic and analytical approach, strong ability & passion for negotiation.
• Independent customer-centric mindset with an organized goal-oriented approach.
• Able to work and collaborate across functional teams.
• High fluency in English & Dutch, both verbal and written.
• Open to travel between The Netherlands and Belgium.
