As a Senior Quality Specialist, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and support throughout all phases of QMS projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that all relevant processes consistently comply with applicable QMS regulations and standards. You will contribute to a broad spectrum of quality activities, including CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), Internal Auditing and Quality Projects.
Additionally, you will actively contribute to training and mentoring newer members of the Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments across the organization, such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Clinical Development, and the Quality team in the US. You will work within a team of Quality Specialists and Internal Auditors and report directly to the Team Leader Quality Assurance.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
- Monitoring and guiding Team Members
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities for quality improvements in the organization
- Execute and oversee change management: provide help and operational support to individuals, teams, and organizations in making an organizational change
- Be systematic in identifying potential problems and designing solutions
- Act both as an advisor and sparring partner for managers within Applied Medical
- Understand and follow Applied Medical’s Quality Systems (QS) and Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar
- 5+ years work experience in a similar position
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of quality systems and standards in a highly regulated environment such as ISO 13485/9001/14001
