Summary of the role

In the role of Senior Project Manager you will develop strategies to change production of Packaging Division products within Europe to align with division goals, work with operations and divisional senior leadership to enact change. The ideal candidate has qualifications to influence teams to buy into strategic goals capable of delivering the best outcome for the global Packaging Division. The position has potential to grow into a senior plant manager.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead team to buy into decisions that requires changing production strategies.
• Determine opportunities for intercompany and cross-functional efficiencies such as global warehouse management.
• Works in collaboration with the Global Packaging operations leadership as well as with PA and Nonwoven stakeholders.
• Generate and manage value engineering projects to optimize value to customers at lowest total costs.
• Support global manufacturing productivity and cost savings initiatives and NBS Next initiatives.
• Use NBS Next Operational Excellence tools to drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with commercial teams, strategic marketing and engineering teams in fulfilling job responsibilities and tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant experience is required
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Rich experience in operations and proven leadership success required.
• Experience and ability to effectively visualize and communicate with data to all levels of leadership.
• Ability to lead change using Change Management tools and techniques.
• International / multicultural experience desired.
• Ability to think creatively and analytically to accomplish long term strategic goals.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives working collaboratively and independently in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels of a global organization
• Demonstrated effective execution of concurrent projects and ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• This position has potential to develop into leading the plant Maastricht once proven success in this role has been shown.

Travel

• 30% travel including travel to US
