SA&VD Consultancy BV is searching for an Development Manager Renewable Energy for one of her clients.

Her client is an international renewable Energy Development & Investment company, headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Established in 2013, they are a team of dedicated professionals in the financial, operational, technical and legal field, doing the best work they can to making green power producing projects happen, at home and abroad.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join the renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and managing relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Development: Lead the planning, development, and implementation of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hydro, geothermal).
• Opportunity Assessment: Identify and assess new project opportunities, including site selection and feasibility studies.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with project developers, landowners, and government agencies.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with investors, regulatory bodies, local communities, and other key stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Coordination: Coordinate with engineering, finance, and legal teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, business development, or renewable energy project development.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Negotiation: Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and environmental impact assessments.
• Financial Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling and commercial analysis.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
