Teaching Assistant position (Temporary replacement due to illness)
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and flexible Teaching Assistant for our Primary School to start on the 1-08-2024.
The position is a temporary one for 4.5 days a week (0.9FTE) and is based on the Dutch collective labour agreement (CAO PO) for primary education, OOP, Scale 5.

The position is open due to the long term illness of a colleague.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who meets the following:
Requirements:
- Permitted to work in the European Union
- High level of spoken and written English
- Multilingual background or experience preferred
- Have excellent communication skills
- Ability to function in an international team
- Willingness to actively contribute to school development
- Strong organisational skills
- Be able to assist our teaching team and support the children in the classroom and in small groups
- Good ICT skills
- Be a team player
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience of working with Primary aged children
- Recognized Teaching/Teaching Assistant qualification
- Compassionate and welcoming to diverse cultural backgrounds and traditions
- Flexible and open to new ideas

We offer:
- a holiday allowance of 8% of the gross annual salary (paid in May every year)
- Payment in the salary scales of the dutch CAO of Education;
- an end-of-year allowance: 8,33% of the gross annual salary (paid in December every year)
- end of scale payment: €1591,09 (paid in August every year) if applicable
- an attractive employer’s contribution towards the Dutch ABP pension scheme
- a commuting allowance (between home and work), in accordance with the CLA

All amounts mentioned above are gross based on 1 FTE and calculated pro rata.
