As we expand across EMEA, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of cutting-edge charging stations.

Overview of the Role

As the Project Manager, you will be the crucial interface between our Field Application Engineers, Business Development team, Assembly Partners, and our Engineering teams, ensuring timely delivery of project and product goals, and liaising with strategic third-party stakeholders to facilitate the needs of our business growth.

Through regular customer contact, you will understand the customer’s precise needs and you will develop detailed project plans, alongside risk analysis, to execute projects on time and on budget for the customer.

You will provide Senior Management with detailed reports on progress and, proactively, highlight operational issues and suggest process improvements.

Responsibilities Client-facing

• Meet clients to take detailed briefs and clarify specific project requirements.

• Regular on site support during project implementation and testing

Project Planning

• Development of detailed project plans

• Budgeting

• Use of Gantt Charts to identify critical tasks.

• Risk analysis of projects

• Comprehensive documentation of projects

Interface with ENGINEERING and Assembly Partners

• Presentation of project parameters and customization requirements

• Feedback of market needs for new product development

• Detailing of specific customer site issues and application problems

• Feedback of identified areas for product and production improvements

Interaction with third party organisations

• CharIn attendance and reporting

• Monitoring of Standards evolution, IEC, OCA, CCS

• Interop Test Event participation

• Assist in specified sourcing activities for alternative EU suppliers.

Reporting

• Establish Project Progress KPIs

• Progress Reports to Senior Management

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience for a manufacturing company

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

• Experience with project management software tools

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification is a plus.
