We are looking for a full time English-speaking Customer Service Employee in the area of Leiden. As customer service representative you will manage inquiries, order processing, after sales for our customers in the UK and be the bridge with our plant, purchasing teams (local and overseas) and vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Inquiries/quotations.
• With a strong product interest and with customer’s needs in mind you will propose the right product/service to match.
• Standard and custom projects.
• Navigating between ‘off the shelves’ items coming from the plant in Poland, and custom-made project, you will use your creativity and communication skills to get the best result in the most efficient way.
• Project pricing sensitive, you will propose options to meet the customer’s budgets.
• Order processing & follow up until delivery.
• Responsible for the orders from beginning to end, you will handle the order processing (order entry), its accuracy, time line (including following on transportation and import if relevant), until completion and delivery into customers hands and until order paid.
• After sales/complaint management.

• A native level command of the English language.
• A MBO or HBO level of education (or equivalent).
• A commercial / sales mindset gained in a previous Customer Service job. Experience with B2B customers from the UK is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge/ understanding of (non-EU) export procedures and export documentation.
• Pro-active and problem-solving mentality, eager to learn.
• Strong listening and good communication/ commercial skills to understand customer needs.
• A good dose of humor.
