Finance Controller

The company

Oerlikon Eldim (NL) B.V. - part of Oerlikon - manufactures and processes parts for aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines. Eldim uses modern technologies such as EDM, CNC turning and milling and 5-axis grinding. The approximately 140 employees are responsible for their own output and quality control. The Eldim group consists of 3 branches in Lomm (NL), Debrecen (HU) and Stockport (EN).

Purpose of the job

Managing the work of the Finance Department from Oerlikon Eldim ((NL) BV in accordance with current regulations and approved procedures. Providing financial management information, budgeting, reporting and monitoring. Providing insight to the financial state of the company and monitoring the financial and economic position of the company.

Your place in the organization

The Financial Controller reports directly to the Eldim Finance and Accounting Manager and dotted line to the Eldim DSO. He/she is member of the Oerlikon Financial Team.

Your main tasks

The Financial Controller is responsible for timely and correct periodic reporting (month/quarter/year) to the internal stakeholders (inclusive balance sheet, profit and loss account etc) and follow-up the tasks necessary for this purpose. Besides that he/she monitors financial kpi's, analyzes financial data, gives insight and provides explanations and advise about possible improvements. Responsible for managing of accounts receivable, the processing of customer invoices, cash records, employee costst & payroll accounting, vendors invoicing processing. Coordinates the yearly budgetround. Besides these regular tasks he/she has some specific tasks like booking and doing payments, processing declarations, VAT-return, guiding audits and acoountants, subsidies, insurances etc. He/she establishes and operate all finance control systems ICS (inclusive improvements and updates) and controls to ensure the integrity of the entire system, processes and data. Comply with internal and external rules&procedures, policies and work-instructions. In other words, a nice and broad position for someone who likes to work in an independent and all-round financial position in a small team.

Your profile

• Minimal bachelor's degree (BSc) in accounting or finance.
• At least 5 years experience in a similair position.
• Broad background in finance and accounting.
• Structured, well-organized, independent, self-motivated, critical, analytical.
• Good communicator, both internally as externally.
• Experienced with systems (SAP)
• Excellent knowledge (verbal and written) of English language.
