Do you want to step into a high-tech world with a strong focus on innovation? Are you looking for a position as a Production Planner who is able to schedule X-ray system production in a way that meets our customers’ demand within the limits of resource availability and at the same time trying to optimize resource utilization? Do you want to do this in an international, but very personal environment? Then this might be your chance to become our new Production Planner!

In this role you translate our customers’ demand for X-ray systems and accessories into a feasible production schedule, considering material- and labor availability. While doing so, you will be collaborating with other production planners, operational buyers, order managers and production leads.
Furthermore, you will be coordinating manufacturing activities and follow up on the manufacturing process together with production leads to secure production plan feasibility.

What are your challenges?
  • Production planning: create, schedule, release and follow-up on work orders for (configured) products, optimize resource utilization by level-loading and resource scheduling, solve or escalate problems that undermine on-time delivery.
  • Administration: continuously maintain production plan in ERP system.
  • Collaboration: solid collaboration with colleagues and (internal) customers.
  • Optimization: make proposals/suggestions for improvement of operation processes, working in accordance with adopted improvement proposals.

What do you need to be successful in this role?
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Good communications skills and team player
  • HBO working and thinking level, with demonstrated experience
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in similar function
  • Technical affinity
  • Fluent (speaking and writing) in English
  • Preferably experience with MRP
