The Junior Product Sales Specialist will act as a subject matter expert for our chemical safety products to support our existing and new business models. You will gain extensive knowledge about our product range and play a key role in promoting and selling these products. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, analyzing trends, developing sales strategies, and identifying opportunities to increase revenue. You will also facilitate training sessions, maintain customer relationships, and work towards ensuring customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Help define strategic objectives and growth goals for the assigned product categories.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for our chemical safety product category, understanding the overall market, key players, regional norms and compliance, and Justrite’s unique features, providing technical support both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to enhance market penetration and achieve a leading position in targeted segments through end-user targeting and product range curation with distributors.
  • Work with global marketing and product management teams to develop and deploy value propositions and support local new product introductions (NPI).
  • Monitor market pricing and margin potential, assisting in developing and managing pricing strategies and customer negotiations.
  • Participate in market committees to drive industry standards.
  • Perform product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Schedule training sessions and attend meetings as required.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify business opportunities and gain market share.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, resolve customer issues, and answer all product-related questions.
  • Partner and strategize with sales, marketing, operations, and engineering teams to enhance product knowledge, development, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new market opportunities and relay information to the EMEA Sales Director and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Make product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives by distribution channel, product category, and end-user segments.
  • Create and deploy sales growth strategies informed by A3 or other formalized problem-solving and continuous improvement tools.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or 0-2 years of relevant product specialist experience in the chemical safety product industry.
  • High level of integrity in representing Justrite Safety Group.
  • Understanding of CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory complexities in Europe and the United Kingdom.
  • Experience in the chemical safety supply or similar business-to-business industry in the EMEA region is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel); knowledge of Salesforce and PowerBI is beneficial.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Working Experience:

While we prefer candidates with approximately 1-2 years of relevant chemical safety product specialist experience, we are open to recent graduates with strong potential and a willingness to learn. Experience in health and safety markets and associated sectors such as Chemical, Pharma, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and Industrial is advantageous.
