Job Description:

The Senior IT Asset Administrator / IMAC Support is responsible for the IT Configuration Management database (CMDB) content and supports in other IT related administrative processes. The Senior IT Asset Administrator / IMAC Support is responsible for the IT storage inventory, reports, and documentation. The Senior IT Asset Administrator / IMAC Support is responsible for the onboarding, offboarding and move process of (new) team members, in relation to the needed hardware and (on-site) technical support.

Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for the administration of the IT Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure its accuracy
  • Responsible for the administration of incoming and outgoing shipments to and from external vendors and internal customers
  • Maintain equipment, device, asset, and license administration
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the asset database and correct administration in IT support and service management systems
  • Responsible for the administration the deprecated asset workstream and update inactive assets and accounts
  • Responsible for the administration of database records of IT-related vendor portals, such as telecom vendors
  • Storage room custodian, responsible for the correct storage and organization of IT inventory
  • Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to end-users, effectively assisting in resolving their hardware related issues.
  • Provision and maintain end-user assets and devices.
  • Responsible to provide proactive end-user IT training (when needed) and supply training documentation.
  • Support the facility team with IT moves, ensuring seamless technology transition during office relocations.
  • Assist in mentoring and coaching members of the team
  • Assign tasks and schedule (daily) workload
  • Act as a reference point for questions and advice
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in processes, procedures and/or systems within department.
  • Lead implementation of improvement in processes, procedures and/or systems.
  • Suggest improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Requirements:
  • MBO level diploma required
  • Relevant IT technical training or certifications (ITIL preferred)
  • A minimum of 1-year prior experience in a similar position
  • Proven knowledge of maintaining an CMDB
  • Work experience in an international environment
  • Experience with IT service management tools (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Knowledge of Excel pivot tables, filters and can work with CSV files
