At Bolsius, sustainability has been a central focus for many years. Our B Corp certification confirms this commitment, and we are proud of it. Sustainability is an increasingly important strategic priority, and we are determined to continuously take new steps and grow further in this area. To achieve our ambitious goals, we are looking for a Junior Sustainability Analyst to join the Sustainability team at our headquarters in Schijndel. In this role, you will work closely with the Sustainability Manager—to whom you will also report—and various internal and external teams, both nationally and internationally.
As a key link between different departments within Bolsius, you will ensure accurate reporting that complies with ever-changing regulations (such as CSRD), certification requirements (such as B Corp) customer demands, and internal needs.
Your responsibilities include:
- Data collection and analysis: You will gather data and insights from various departments, develop collection processes, and manage sustainability data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Reporting and documentation: You will prepare sustainability reports and related documentation, and assist in the preparation of presentations and communication materials.
- Compliance and standards: You will stay up-to-date with relevant sustainability standards and ensure compliance with them.
- Stakeholder engagement: You will actively collaborate with departments to promote sustainability initiatives and support in responding to queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement: You will continually optimize the processes surrounding sustainability and the role of your department, aiming to further improve quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.

- A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in the field of sustainability, environment, society, or a related discipline.
- Some relevant work experience (a plus). We are also open to recent graduates with relevant experience from internships, projects, or demonstrated interest in sustainability and enthusiasm for this role.
- Familiarity with sustainability concepts, frameworks, and reporting standards such as CSRD, B Corp, GRI, SDGs, and GHG (a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; you can process and structure large amounts of data to meet specific requirements.
- A proactive and social mindset; you can energize and persuade stakeholders from various departments of the importance of sustainability within our organization.
- The ability to switch between working independently (e.g., reviewing requirements and setting up data structures) and collaborating in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of the Dutch language is helpful but not a strict requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel is important) as well as familiarity with data visualization software.
