We are the Royal Schiphol Group Innovation Hub. As pioneers of the aviation community we accelerate innovation on the airport's most pressing issues. At Schiphol Group, we have confidence in your talents and the way in which you use them as Innovation Lead to achieve the following goals:

• Drive transformative & disruptive innovations (our ‘Moon & Mars shots’) within an Innovation Domain. Examples of projects we worked on are: Robotics to lift baggage, Leveraging droplet screens to capture air pollutants, Autonomous Buses to transport crew on Airside, Creating data-driven insights on air quality to reduce exposure to air pollutants, Timeslots for Security, developing a system to orchestrate traffic information towards autonomous airside operations (‘OTISS’), or completely reimagine aircraft ground movements by Sustainable Taxiing and Autonomous Baggage Transportation.
• Initiate, build and orchestrate innovation ecosystems (e.g., startups, industry and R&D partners and knowledge institutes) with a shared vision, mission and common impact goals.
• Oversee the design & execution of experiments in live or sandbox environments that de-risks the domain vision.
• Manage and coach project teams (e.g., on (explorative) innovation methodologies) on how to make the most impact.
• Arrange funding for innovation projects via internal or external funding mechanisms (e.g., by writing grant proposals or by pitching to an internal board).
• Collaborate: we cannot create systemic impact alone!

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., (Sr.) Product Manager, Product Owner, Innovation Manager, intrapreneur or entrepreneur).
• An entrepreneurial mentality and approach.
• Skills to communicate at all levels in the organization.
• Comfortable with dealing with uncertainty & failing.
• Guts, because without guts no glory.

You get this

• € 5830 to € 8193 gross per month (Schaal 14).
• A 13th month (year-end bonus).
• 180 vacation hours.
• An NS Business Card that fully reimburses travel by public transportation to and from work.
