Sparkling Society is a global player with multiple well known mobile games such as City Island series. Titles independently developed from idea to publication, over 180 million downloads worldwide, and a fast-growing multidisciplinary team of visionary experts.

Who we are looking for

For our Sparkling family we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who understands data systems and cloud infrastructure. You are curious and find challenge in finding out things independently and like to solve (complex) problems. You have knowledge of data systems and knowledge of cloud solutions.

You will be working closely together with other disciplines like Product Owners, Game Developers, Marketeers and Data on things like LiveOps, Analytics, AB Testing & Tooling. For our daily activities we use Scrum and we work in small development teams.

Your skills and talents:

  • You have at least 4 years of experience with data systems and knowledge of cloud solutions
  • You have database design and implementation skills.
  • You have a good knowledge of web development or at least of a back end language as ASP, PHP, .Net
  • You have knowledge of GCP, AWS or Azure
  • You are team player, self-starter, result-oriented and analytical
  • You are eager to learn and develop yourself.

It’s to your advantage if you have experience with

  • Version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Designing and engineering of cloud systems.
