About us

Just 10 mins by car from the The Hague city centre, the brand new hotel is conveniently located opposite the Voorburg train station, close to where thoroughfares A4 (Amsterdam – The Hague), A13 (The Hague – Rotterdam) and A12 (The Hague - Utrecht) come together.

Within walking distance explore historical Voorburg, with the Huygens' Hofwijck museum and the Herenstraat or a little further afield to visit, Royal Palace Noordeinde, Madurodam, de Pier and Scheveningen Beach. Take a drive out to close-by The Hague, Leiden, Delft or Rotterdam.

What’s The Job?

"The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Night Manager, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.

You Are Responsible For

· Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.

· Supervise accurate and efficient reception operations Including check In/out procedures.

· Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs – record and act on their preferences and handle their messages, requests, questions and concerns.

· Stay safe all the time. Following our safety procedures and report all incidents.

· Act with responsibility In emergency situations

· Carry out shift handovers and brief team members as required

· Support Team Members In handling guest requests and enquires to ensure a positive outcome.

· Understand and apply correct finance and hotel credit policy procedures.

· Represent the Front Office Manager in her absence during the night shift.

· Preform the Night Audit and ensure all reports are prepared for the next day operations

· Make book-outs if necessary

· Performs security checks of Interior and exterior on the hotel premises

What We Need From You

- Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to.

- Fluent in Dutch and English, an additional foreign language is preferred

- Opera experience Preferred

- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team

- You are a real Team player and you work organized.

- Flexibility - morning, evening or night weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.

- Experience - ideally you’ll have spent at least one year in a front desk or guest service position

- Excellent grooming standards
