XPAR Vision is the global leader in advanced monitoring, control, and optimization solutions for the glass manufacturing industry. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer to install high-tech sensors and robots and provide maintenance and support after installation.

What will you do?

• From our office in Groningen, you will ensure proper preparation for installations, maintain customer contact, configure computer systems, and create documentation (manuals, procedures, FAQs, etc.).
• At the customer's site, you will independently carry out installations according to schedule. This can be on location worldwide, or you may guide the installation remotely from Groningen.
• You will train users through basic and maintenance training sessions to help them work with our technologies.
• Even after implementation, you remain the customer’s point of contact. You will perform support, service, and repair tasks (both remotely and on-site) and prepare reports.
• In this role, you will spend approximately 30% of your working time abroad.

What do we ask?

• MBO+ working and thinking level; we welcome recent graduates entering the job market.
• Extensive knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and IT through education and/or experience.
• Residency in (or near) Groningen.
• Good command of both Dutch and English.
• A valid driver’s license (category B).
• Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
