The luxurious Four Elements Hotel Amsterdam lies in the modern Amsterdam neighbourhood of IJburg and is the first Zero Energy Hotel in the world. As F&B manager, your helpful, can-do approach and passion for great service will create an amazing impression every time. Your eye for detail, understanding of processes and strong leadership will ensure everything runs smoothly both in front and behind the scenes, across the hotel, meetings, events, restaurant and bar. You’ll lead the way and set a guiding example for your team to ensure the smooth running and strategic direction of food and beverague department.

We are looking for an F&B supervisor:

• Manages & develop a team of 20 team members.
• Provides leadership through leading by example. Clearly communicates both operational & strategic information, ongoing customer feedback, ensuring team members are trained & developed, and empowering hotel teams. Along with providing an inspiring service culture through briefings, team meetings, allocation of resources, IT platforms, handovers and management of the team. Being present at key busy times.
• Identify opportunities and improvements to ways of working whilst being solution focussed to operational needs of the hotel and in setting & achieving longer term goals.
• Shares best practice with regards to efficiency, profitability, teamwork, planning, being present at the forefront of the business.
• Work together with relevant teams to ensure guest and colleague satisfaction, financial goals & responsible business targets are met.
• Proactively upsell and promote our restaurant and Sky Bar.
• Creates a welcoming atmosphere and personalised service for your guest.
• Follows guidance and instructions given by leadership team, supported by the company’s standard operating procedures related but not limited to emergency and evacuation procedures, report any incidents, accidents or maintenance faults that may jeopardise guest or colleague’s satisfaction, health & wellbeing.
• Attends and completes all mandatory ‘Health & Safety’ training, and is responsible for hygiene, health and safety within the hotel.
