What you will do:

We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our team based in Amsterdam! You will join us for 16 hours / 2 days a week (Wednesday and Thursday) for 6-months period, starting on the 1st of June.

The #1 goal of this role is to ensure smooth operations of our ‘Choco Central' office in Houthavens. As the welcoming face of Tony's at the reception, you will at the forefront of creating a pleasant and sustainable work environment for our team and visitors alike.

Your mission is to deliver a choco-awesome experience to everyone who steps into our office. You and two other office managers are a part of the People & Culture team and report directly to Workplace Experience & Event Lead.

• Handle the colleagues’ requests and questions via email, chat, ticket system, and live at the front office.

• Ensure the seamless day-to-day functioning of 'The Choco Central.' From maintaining the office's tidy appearance to handling post and packages, restocking groceries, and implementing innovative sustainability initiatives, you're orchestrating it all.

• Be the go-to person for our office suppliers, managing relationships with cleaners, neighbours, maintenance, and the handyman to keep everything running like clockwork.

Job requirements:

• Whether you're just beginning your career or bring experience in office management, hospitality, reception, or customer service, you have demonstrated experience in delivering outstanding service experiences.

• Excel in time management, effortlessly prioritizing multiple ad-hoc tasks in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

• Fluent in English and comfortable communicating in Dutch (at least A2 level) to engage with our suppliers and Dutch office visitors.

• You're naturally caring and people-oriented, ensuring your colleagues can perform at their best.

• Humbleness: no task is too small; you enjoy being on the move and sitting on a desk for hours watching life passing by isn't typical of you! Action-oriented is your middle name!

• You are available to start early June and willing to work 16 hours per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) from our Amsterdam office.

• You raise the bar: challenge yourself and team Tony’s to increase our ambition and to accomplish our mission. Making mistakes along the way and learning from them.
