Your Responsibilities:

Design and Implement: Build and maintain the integration platform on our Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on utilizing Apigee for API management and serverless functions in Python for efficient and scalable integrations.

Optimize and Scale: Identify opportunities for optimization and scalability of the integration platform, and implement enhancements to meet the growing demands of our organization.

Troubleshoot and Support: Resolve technical issues and provide support to internal teams using the integration platform, ensuring maximum availability and reliability.

Collaborate: Work closely with various teams, including development, infrastructure, and architecture, to understand our organization's integration needs and deliver effective solutions.

Mentor: While the team grows, you are expected to mentor their technical and professional skills

Your profile:

• Experience and Expertise: Extensive experience with cloud technologies, preferably the Google Cloud Platform. Profound knowledge of Apigee and experience in building serverless functions in Python are essential. As this is one of the first roles we hire, we need somebody with decent experience.
• Passion for Innovation: You are driven by innovation and have a constant desire to learn and explore new technologies.
• Team Player: You excel in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and possess excellent communication skills.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You can tackle complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.

• Communication: In the team we use English as the main language of communication. Within our department and the rest of the company, Dutch is used. We need someone who is fluent in English and can communicate well in Dutch.
