We are searching for a recent graduate or early career technician/ engineer to join our R&D and Engineering department as an electrical engineer. Tasks

In this position, under the guidance of the senior electrical engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design of the various sub-systems of our gas turbine generator sets. This includes the generator, UCP, MCC, fuel supply, starting system, filtration and ventilation system, lube oil system, as well as electrical equipment attached to the turbine.
Your tasks will include:

• Participating in customer projects and executing electrical design and engineering tasks
• Supporting the development of our current and new products
• Creating project-specific documentation (specifications, wiring diagrams, reports, etc.)
• Processing as-built and as-installed information
• Driving your own internal improvement projects, such as the standardization of our electrical drawings and documents
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders and providing technical expertise to customers, suppliers, and colleagues
• Important competences include: written and verbal communication skills, results-driven, initiative, knowledge, and problem-solving abilities

Requirements

• An intermediate vocational education/ practical education (MBO) or Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in electrical engineering
• A couple of years relevant work experience (Electrical Technician/ Electrician)
• Hands-on experience with E-plan would be an advantage
• Important competences include: hands-on approach, teamwork, accuracy
• Fluent in spoken and written English
