Customer Support Manager - Implementation

Are you full-time available as a Customer Support Manager and eager to take part in implementing a new customer at our 100,000 square meter warehouse with 350 employees?
Take the next step in your career with us as a Customer Support Manager, where you will grow both professionally and personally with a steep learning curve. At our new location in Puttershoek, you will further advance the Consumer Product division and gain firsthand experience in the dynamic world of our international supply chain solutions. Together with your team of Customer Support Specialists and Customer Support Officers, you are responsible for the new customer. Your expertise in building and motivating teams will be crucial. YOUR TASKS

  • Handling daily operational issues and solving recurring problems with carriers.
  • Coordinating the implementation of new customers and transportation arrangements.
  • Managing and coordinating tickets related to transportation issues.
  • Support the team and act as escalation point to handle transport delays and issues and take corrective actions in consultation with the client and the carriers
  • Staying informed about market trends, new products, and innovative transportation methods.
  • Making strategic decisions and planning future improvements based on market insights.
  • Ensuring the availability of staff, both quantitatively and qualitatively, and supporting supervisors in managing their teams.
  • Maintaining contact with customers regarding issues and necessary actions, and serving as an escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand services offered to existing customers and working on process improvements with your teams.

YOUR PROFILE

  • A completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics, Technical or Business Administration
  • 5 years experience, preferably in logistics, medical or production industry, leading and taking part in projects
  • You are skilled in order management monitoring (inbound, outbound, transport)
  • Ability and willingness to search out for and implement/realize own business improvements
  • Knowledge of products and services of the client (Supply Chain Management)
  • Knowledge of the Service levels agreed with the client.
